Site Clearance

Contact us to discuss your site clearance work

From large sites to smaller ones, Avondale is your partner to help clear a site quickly and efficiently.
Our fleet of plant machinery enables us to tackle site clearance with the right and best equipment.
We can cut everything down, working within environmental guidelines and legal requirements for protecting habitats and nesting.
Once cleared, we can chip and mulch, removing all waste from the site, leaving it ready for use.
The technology and machinery we have in our fleet allows us to work quickly and efficiently, able to clear a vast amount of land in less time than other methods.
Our experienced operatives arrive on-site ready to work and get the job done for you.

If required and before site clearance can take place, we carry out habitat surveys and ecological mitigation works. If the surveys identify reptiles such as slow worms and lizards, we have our own receptor site for reptile translocation.

We work across:

Vegetation Management

Get in touch to find out how we can make your vegetation clearance quicker and more cost-effective

Avondale are specialists in both vegetation clearance and management. Vegetation just keeps on growing but we are your partner to keep on top of it, ensuring it doesn’t interfere with infrastructure or cause safety issues.

Regular attention to vegetation prevents furthers problems, for example, ‘leaves on the line’ or blocked drainage for train operators or obstructed vision for highways.

Railway lines are kept safe for trains running at high speed, highways are improved, footpaths cleared and verges maintained.
Our clients include railway, highways and local authorities; work is scheduled throughout the year with an increase in vegetation management in the spring and summer growing months.
We also have expertise in nesting, pests and dangerous vegetation, to ensure the right work is done at the right time to work in harmony with nature.

Our huge fleet enables us to carry out work that poses a higher safety risk to manual personnel. Our machines can clear more quickly than manual crews, with the operative remaining in the cab; no manual finishing is required.

Faster work also means less disruption.

Large sites, smaller sites, managing highways and railways, council-owned land, plus clearing sites for construction – we work with many partners to provide one-off or ongoing, scheduled work.

Weed Control

Weeds just keep on growing, so here at Avondale, we mix spraying with cutting to keep them under control.
We are very careful about the chemicals we use, following compliance and regulation in relation to the environment to the letter.
Working in harmony with nature is important to us – preserving our own native species and keeping on top of invasive ones.

We have a huge range of specialist equipment ready to get to work, in hard to reach places where personnel safety is more high risk as manual work.

Translocated or residual herbicides can be applied manually by knapsack, stem injected or mechanically via the Unimog spray unit.

We work across:
