Avondale Environmental recently undertook a range of tree works at Morden Hall Park in Surrey on a variety of ageing trees including: 

• Field Maple
• Horse Chestnut
• Ash
• Birch
• Sycamore
• Willow
• London Plane

And the tree featured in the photographs a Lombardy poplar or 'Populus Nigra' sub species 'Italica' to give it its latin name. The works included felling, crown lifting, pollarding, re-coppicing and the removal of dead limbs. All the works were carried out while the park was open to the public so safety was of paramount importance. . . .
