The MHU 800 Rear Mounted Arm

Designed specifically to fit on Avondale’s fleet of RRV Unimogs it forms the base of our attachment system and features:

• an extra long cutting reach of 8m
• a resource efficient one man operation
• a safety system for working under overhead cables
• counter balance weights and hydraulic wheel supports for greater rail stability
• single line working

Designed for high speed cutting on highway verges this head is ideal for grass or shrubs up to 40 mm. The sensor controlled flail head automatically follows the ground contours using head mounted sensors.

Heavy duty flail head fitted with tungsten mulching teeth which fold inside the rotor head when meeting an obstruction to prevent costly damage and down time. Cut material is mulched into the ground creating a finished surface.

Replacing a two man team it is designed to rapidly remove low overhanging branches and to cut and shape hedges. The four circular saws leave a clean sharp profile increasing both productivity and quality of work.
