An integrated safety, quality and environmental management system that meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 underpins the safety of our operations through the following:
- Policy the strategic aims and objectives of the company
- Organisation who is responsible for delivering the policy
- Arrangements - the planning, implementation, measuring, monitoring, review and audit requirement needed to deliver the policy
As a qualified principal contractor under the CDM regulations 1994 Avondale complies with an external audited Contractors Safety Assurance Case and Rail Safety Case. Under the direction of dedicated safety professionals Avondale not only maintains a sound participative safety culture at every level but also trains and assists its partners and sub contractors to develop their health and safety documentation and management systems, thus providing a cohesive professional supply chain to the Rail, Highway and Utility sectors.
