Mulchers are designed to tackle heavy vegetation across a variety of terrains rapidly creating access and clearing the way for further works. Avondale has made extensive use of the tracked capabilities of its range of mulchers to clear the steep inclines of Fort Horsted amongst others. In a few short years, the overgrown banks have been returned to meadowland supporting a diverse range of flora and fauna.

Greenmech Multi-Task 120

Although the Multi Task has initially been fitted with a 1.5 metre Mulching head that will cut and process standing timber up to a thickness on 100mm, to make the machine more multi functional, the Multi Tasks attachment mounting plate was designed to accept other skid steer manufactures implements. In conjunction with this the unit is fitted with the Parker IQAN system that will allow hydraulic flows and pressures to be altered to match the application, making this 5 tonne machine a very useful tool for embankment maintenance.
