Now we have been able to recover from the excellent response from Railtext 07, we would like to thank all visitors to our stand. We had many people come to chat with us over the three day event, meeting many new contacts and some old one too. Also on show, was our newest member of staff (Allan the mannequin), who drew much attention.
We are in the process of following up all contacts made at the exhibition, but if you have any urgent requirements, please use our normal contact details which can be found on here.

Avondale Staff completes London to Brighton charity cycle ride
When someone mentioned the London to Brighton back in December, the idea sounded great with eight members of the Avondale team signing up. A rigorous training schedule was put together and then promptly forgotten.
An early start was required on Sunday 18 June to get to Clapham Common for our start time of 9am. Arriving at the start line we were greeted by a sea of riders and bikes, as far as the eye could see. At a little after 9am, we set off in convoy on the start of our 54 mile trip to Brighton.
The whole event was very well organised, with regular official refreshments points for the 28,000 participants. One of the most amazing sights on the way, was a cycle jam, when the route moved to some of the more narrow rural roads.
A fun day was had by all, with most of our riders completing the route in less than six hours, with no major injuries, apart from a little being saddle sore.
