The ultimate road and rail spray system, created and developed in-house by Avondale, is approved for highway and rail use (VAB approved).

Compared with the equivalent manual operation this unique unit is 10 times more productive, up to 82% more cost effective and :

• reduces the need for multiple visits with the facility to spray a selection of different herbicides simultaneously from each of the six independent spray systems
• provides full print outs via the onboard computer and GPS system
• operates to a range of 80 miles depending on the herbicides required
• has the flexibility to spray a swathe width from 1.5m to 12m
• copes with differing topography using remotely adjustable off track nozzles with a spray curtain of over 6m each side of the Unimog
• has a 15m reel lance for spot treatment for out of reach areas such as access points and station buildings

The service includes fully documented reports on spray applications and locations to meet COSHH and environmental legislation requirements.
